HasOffers’ First Strategic Investment

Becky Doles

Today we announced a strategic investment in MobileAds (http://www.mobileads.com), a white-label HTML5 enterprise platform provider that gives results-driven marketers the ability to create the kind of interactive, platform agnostic rich media mobile ads and native advertising units traditionally reserved for large brand advertisers — but at a much lower cost. This is the first investment HasOffers has made in another company.

“Flexible ad creation and serving will play a major role in the future of this industry, and MobileAds has the best white-labeled enterprise-level solution we’ve seen,” said Peter Hamilton, CEO, HasOffers. “We are very impressed with MobileAds’ product, progress and partnerships to date, and are proud to be an investor in and champion of MobileAds’ growth.”

“We are thrilled to have HasOffers as an investor and partner,” said Alvin Koay, CEO, MobileAds. “MobileAds will use the funds to expand their offering to the US market, and continue to scale the product to support growth, among other initiatives.”

“We started HasOffers to build indispensable, ecosystem-supporting tools for the industry, and we see that same drive and commitment in MobileAds,” said Lucas Brown, Chief Product Officer and co-founder, HasOffers. “Alvin Koay is a passionate entrepreneur who is focused on building unbiased technology to support all mobile marketers, and we wanted to help him continue to succeed.”

“The mobile advertising market is growing drastically, and MobileAds is poised to become a key player with its advanced technology and outstanding leadership team,” said Serguei Netessine, the Timken Chaired Professor of Global Technology and Innovation at INSEAD, Research Director of INSEAD-Wharton Alliance, and an investor in, and advisor for, MobileAds.
