The PerformanceIN 50 is an annual list of the year’s most exceptional, inspiring, and influential performance marketers. These individuals have been nominated and recognized by their peers for pushing conventional boundaries to improve the performance marketing channel.
“2020 has certainly been game-changing, but the industry has proven itself resilient with the breadth and depth of opportunities available, making both the channel profitable and supporting the wider community as well,” said Mustafa Mirreh, senior digital journalist at PerformanceIN. “That is why we want to highlight those that have not only gone out of their way to push the agenda forward for the performance marketing industry, but also to adapt and provide solutions for the growing opportunities and challenges as the industry accelerates into the next era.”
Brian’s call to the industry to find ways to open up, collaborate, and start saying “and” instead of “or” is the disruptive voice the performance ecosystem needs to move to the next phase of partnerships. Partnership silos do nothing to help performance marketing grow. Brian’s voice as an advocate for change is helping to set a new tone for the industry and a different tune for leaders to follow.
“Being ‘open’ means widening the lens of partnerships, including more types of partners, redefining relationships and creating standards in technology and performance,” said Brian. “There are too many silos in performance marketing today; across networks, between devices and marketing channels, and across geographies. We are sub-optimizing the whole pie, as an industry. Let technology empower relationships, not confine them to walled gardens.”
On behalf of everyone here at TUNE, we want to congratulate Brian and the rest of the industry leaders named to this year’s PerformanceIN 50.
