Today we are excited to announce that Hirotoshi Okada will be joining the TUNE team as head of operations in Japan. As you may recall, we recently opened our first office in Tokyo, and Okada will play a critical role in enhancing our technology and service for Japanese marketers.
“We were so fortunate to take part in the first phase of mobile marketing growth in Japan back in 2013, growing meaningful relationships with customers and partners,” said TUNE CEO Peter Hamilton. “Today, I’m excited to invest in the next wave of retail and commerce growth with Hirotoshi Okada to lead our already amazing team in delivering the best service and technology to Japanese marketers. Hirotoshi brings the vast experience and knowledge of our industry to ensure that TUNE makes the right commitments to a long term future.”
Prior to joining TUNE, Hirotoshi was a part of GREE Advertising. He started there in 2012, then was promoted to CEO in 2015. Prior to leading GREE, Hirotoshi started his career at Fujitsu Marketing. He studied Political Science and Economics at Meiji University.
On joining TUNE, Hirotoshi said, “TUNE is globally recognized among top app developers and marketers for the complete mobile marketing solution, built on reliable and sophisticated technology. I look forward to being part of the company capable of playing a pivotal role in steering the Japanese mobile marketing industry to the right direction, where data transparency and accessibility are maintained as essential core values.”
Welcome, Hirotoshi! We look forward to supporting our Japanese customers even better with you on board.
