Top 10 performing direct publishers

Becky Doles

The TUNE Marketing Console shows the advertising networks and publishers that TUNE customers use most — aggregating data from more than 1,000 networks and publishers so you can search for the best partners based on parameters like type of partner, pricing model, platform, region, and more.

By analyzing aggregate campaign data across 1000+ of our Integrated Advertising Partners of the TUNE Marketing Console, we found that marketers that drive the most conversions work with an average of 13 to 16 advertising partners per campaign.*

The top performing direct publishers in North America

In today’s list, we’re taking a look the top direct publishers in North America. You’d use this criteria if you wanted to create the ads yourself — composing a tweet, pin, or snap — for the North American region. Below are the top 10 direct publishers that TUNE customers use most in North America:

What the Integrated Partners Index can do for you

By simply choosing the KPI that is most important to you and ranking the partners accordingly, you can quickly see how all of the partners are performing in one index. The Index calculates rankings once a day for the previous 30 days, so check back periodically (weekly) to see if partner rankings have changed, or if there are any new partners with whom you should connect with. The Index is particularly useful when you’re adding another traffic channel because it can help determine the best partner for you.

The Index not only allows you to compare partner performance, it also helps you find the most appropriate partner who fits your particular needs. For example, the Index is an ideal tool for answering the following questions.

  • Which partners deal specifically with the iOS platform in Eastern Europe?
  • Which partners promote installs in addition to clicks? (which partners have a high conversion rate?)
  • Which partners generate the highest RPIs?

By segmenting all of our Integrated Partners with these filters, you have a quick-and-easy way to find the partners who can make the most impact for your mobile app advertising. You no longer have to manually scan through the list of hundreds of partners because with only a few clicks in the Index, you can identify the partners who best meet your particular needs (usually, valuable sources of traffic made available only for you).

When you filter the Integrated Partners Index in the TUNE Marketing Console, you can filter by the type of partner (ad network, DSP, or incentivized), pricing model (CPM, CPC, or CPI), and region (Asia Pacific, North Europe, or Middle East). By carefully choosing your filters, the Index provides more granular analysis of the KPIs for all of the Integrated Partners.

The Integrated Partners Index ranks partners based on the various KPIs. The Index automatically ranks the partners based on “Install Volume”, where the partner with the most installs across all Attribution Analytics clients is ranked first and all other partners ranked after accordingly. So you have an absolute rank number for each partner. For example, Fyber is ranked first as it has the highest install volume and all other partners fall in line behind Fyber. InMobi is ranked second because their install volume is lower than the install volume for Fyber.

In addition, the volume bar (to the left of the rank number) indicates the relative percentile ranks for each partner. For example, the volume bar for Fyber is full because they have the highest install volume (100%), while the volume bar for InMobi is slightly less full because they have a slightly lower install volume (99%) than Fyber. So 100% of partner install volumes are lower than the install volume for Fyber, and 99% of partner install volumes are lower than the install volume for InMobi, and so on, so forth for each partner.

You can also re-rank the partners based on the other KPIs available by clicking on the Index headers (for example, Click Volume or any other KPIs you’re currently filtering the Index by). Simply choose the KPI that is the most important to you and rank the partners against that KPI to see how all of the partners are performing. Attribution Analytics calculates rankings every 30 days, so check back periodically to see if partner rankings have changed, or if there are any new partners with whom you should connect with. The Index is particularly useful if you’re adding another traffic channel because it can help determine the best partner for your needs. Use the Index to compare your publishing partners, and also go “window-shopping” for prospective new ones!
